Tahir Hemphill is an award-winning multimedia artist working in the areas of interdisciplinary collaboration, thought and research. He’s planned business strategy in the entertainment, advertising and nonprofit industries. He also produces art and media arts education programs and manages the Rap Research Lab. He will tell the story of how his Hip Hop Word Count project has translated into teaching high school students about data literacy.
