Jessie Daniels is a Professor of Sociology at Hunter College and at the Graduate Center, CUNY. Her main area of interest is in race and digital media technologies and is an internationally recognized expert on the Internet manifestations of racism. She is the author of two books about race and various forms of media, White Lies and Cyber Racism, as well as dozens of peer-reviewed articles in journals. She will discuss how digital collections are used by extremist groups.
