NDIIPP Brochure Available
September 30, 2007 -- In preparation for the 2007 National Book Festival, held on the National Mall on September 30, NDIIPP produced a user-friendly colorful brochure (PDF, 719KB) that features great tips for "Preserving Your Digital Memories."

Martha Anderson, acting director of the National Digital Information Infrastructure and Preservation Program, talked about digital preservation during the Sept. 7 broadcast of "Ahead of the Curve," a program focusing on high technology. Anderson laid out the critical need for preservation and discussed the recent Preserving Creative America partnerships. NDIIPP at the National Book Festival
The Library of Congress' 2007 National Book Festival will be held this year on Saturday, Sept. 29. Seventy authors will be on the National Mall in Washington from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival is free and open to the public.
If you live in the Washington area or will be visiting at this time, be sure to stop by the Library of Congress pavilion. Here, you will be able to take part in a variety of interactive family-centered activities illustrating the depth and breadth its Library's extraordinary collections available online. Computers will be available for children and adults to explore the Library's acclaimed Web site at www.loc.gov. Information about conserving photographs and valuable documents as well as the digital preservation program (NDIIPP) will be provided.
