July 30, 2009 -- Library of Congress staff played an active role at the recent National Association of Government Archives and Records Administrators (external link) annual conference, held July 15-18 in Seattle, WA.

Bill LeFurgy and Michelle Gallinger presented details about the National Digital Information Infrastructure and Preservation Program Preserving State Government Information initiative. They also participated in a meeting of the Washington Multi-State Preservation Consortium, which included representatives of current as well as prospective state partners.
Butch Lazorchak presented as part of a panel discussing "GeoMapp Multi-state Project: Capturing Earth’s Footprints in a Changing World."
In addition, over 20 people involved with the four NDIIPP states projects participated in the conference.
