November 13, 2009 -- A new video (external link) features Minnesota Speaker of the House Margaret Anderson Kelliher talking about new methods to preserve and provide access to digital records of state legislatures.
The production describes the work of A Model Technological and Social Architecture for the Preservation of State Government Digital Information Project, which is supported by the Library of Congress National Digital Information Infrastructure and Preservation Program.
Led by the Minnesota Historical Society, the project is currently working with nine other states to implement tools and services for the long-term management of electronic legislative records. The National Conference of State Legislatures (external link) is also engaged with this work.
