May 6, 2010 -- Do you like NDIIPP? If so, you now have a chance to show it by "liking" the new National Digital Information Infrastructure and Preservation Program Facebook page (external link).
The Library of Congress launched the page on May 3 to engage with anyone and everyone with an interest in digital preservation and access. The page will be updated daily with news from the program and from its partners. There will also be highlights from preserved collections, details about personal digital archiving and more.
Facebook is, of course, a "social" media tool. NDIIPP staff are eager to engage with users on all kinds of topics relating to digital preservation. Plans are in the works to explore a variety of ways to spur interaction.
Any thoughts or ideas are welcome—send them on through Facebook!
